She was a woman like any other. And all she wanted was to finish her college alone.
"Why are you so introverted, Hina? Come on, you're in college! You should enjoy it! Do everything you didn't in high school!" Ino said, rolling her eyes because of the lack of courage from Hinata.
"Thank you, Ino. But I prefer to stay like this, without drawing attention. I didn't born for this sort of thing." Hinata smiled awkwardly, making Ino to roll her eyes again.
"You'll still be sorry!"
Until one day, everything was upside down.
"We are going broke!" Hiashi shouted and clapped his hands firmly on the table. "That stupid cafeteria only gave us prejudice, and now, we are getting poor! Poor! You'll have to leave college, Hinata. It is impossible to pay!
"Dad…"
"It can't be helped! Let's sell the land to the Uchiha."
Desperation makes a good man refer astray.
"You have a way to save your fortune, Hiashi." The deep voice and the inquisitive eyes made even the patriarch Hyuuga shaking in the chair.
"How?" he wanted to know, straightened in his chair, tense.
"You need pull the fast one on Sasuke Uchiha."
"And why I would do such a thing?"
"You want to save your company, don't you?" The smile was mockingly. "Help me and I will help you."
And the innocents end up paying for something…
"Dad, I can't do this! It's wrong! I won't!"
"You will, Hinata! Because you need this!"
… they didn't do…
"Who are you?" Sasuke asked, looking down at her, suspiciously.
"Hinata Hyuuga, sir. I'm your new assistant."
And feelings that shouldn't arise…
The glass shattered into several pieces when Sasuke threw it on the wall with all his strength.
"She is driving me crazy! Crazy!" he growled angrily.
Are inevitable.
"I love him, dad. I can't do this anymore." She put her both hands on her face, trying to hold back the tears. "I'm sorry. I can't…"
Betrayal.
"I'm sorry, Sasuke, I…"
"Get out of my way!"
"Sasuke…"
"How could you? GET OUT, NOW!"
Regrets.
"I want to die."
"Don't say such things!" Ino held her by the shoulders, trying not to cry.
Pain.
"Hinata Hyuuga is dead to me. Never dare speak her name again, Naruto. NEVER AGAIN!"
Losses.
"So, it was you who was behind it all. I should have known.
The sound of the shot echoed through the apartment.
Hope.
"I thought I would never love someone, but you proved me wrong. Marry me, Hinata.
Her breath caught and her eyes filled with tears. She wanted so much to hear these words.
"Yes."

A/N: Initially I would not even post this fanfic. It was something that came so out of nowhere. And since I have a thousand fanfics to finish, was a distant project. But the inspiration hit me hard, and I ended up writing some chapters. x_x It's just a preview, bc I am finishing another history, but I really wanted to know what people could think. :)) If someone look interested, I will continue.
