"Hello, Savior." Emma's head whipped around to where Gold's voice was coming from.
"Gold." She responded harshly. "What are you doing here?"
The man stepped closer to her, never breaking the eye contact. "Well, dearie, that is for me to know and for you to find out."
"When?" Emma asked, not trusting the man before her.
"Soon, dearie. You just need to have a little patience." Rumplestilskin smirked at her.
"What game are you playing, Gold?" Emma asked, trying to make him talk.
"The same one I always have. Have you heard from Regina recently?" He asked her curiously.
"No." Emma lied skillfully. He nodded his head, not sure if she was telling the truth or not.
"You know, I think you two should spend more time together, just the two of you." The statement made Emma frown. Why does Gold want me to spend time with Regina? Emma thought, but couldn't come up with an answer. I'll have to ask Regina. She decided.
"Anything else you need?" Emma asked, her annoyance showing in her voice.
"Perhaps later, dearie." The man told her. He watched her a little longer, before disappearing.
"Regina, my dear, I need your help with something." The brunette raised an eyebrow at the Dark One.
"I'd like Emma to join us on our next mission." He started.
Regina's chuckle interrupted him. "Why would you want that? So she can stop us?"
"Well, dearie, if you must know, Emma has potential for great evil and I'd like to use that to persuade the Author." The Dark One knew exactly which buttons to push for Regina to do whatever he desired.
Regina raised an eyebrow. "And you expect me to convince her." He nodded in agreement. "That's stupid. She doesn't even trust me."
"Oh, but that's where you're wrong, dearie. Our dear Savior sees you as her friend. Meaning that if you were to ask for her help, she'd do whatever you asked her too."
Deep down Regina knew it was true. She and Emma were getting along better every day and the blonde would do whatever was needed to find her happy ending.
"Fine," the brunette growled, not liking being told what to do. "But if this backfires, it'll be your own fault."
Regina walked into the Charming's apartment. "Emma," She said seriously, "I need to talk to you." She noticed the others watching her too and added "Privately".
The blonde nodded and followed her to the hallway. "What's wrong, Regina? You sound serious."
The brunette sighed. "You were right. I do need your help with the undercover work. Gold wants your help in our next mission. He thinks I'm capable of convincing you to join the Dark Side."
Emma nodded, confused. "He really believes I'll willingly help him."
Regina shrugged. "Apparently he knows about your promise to help me find my happy ending and he believes you'd do whatever it takes to get it. Even darken your heart."
Emma nodded in agreement, making the brunette's eyes widen. "You'd seriously risk your own happiness to help me?" Emma nodded. "Idiot!" She yelled, hitting the blonde's shoulder.
"Hey, if you don't want my help…" Emma faked being offended very well.
"No. No! I appreciate it greatly; I just never realized you'd risk everything for me. Why? "
The blonde smiled. "Because you're my friend, Regina. Because I'm doing it for Henry too. Because I care about you. Because I took your happiness away. There are so many reasons, Regina, but mostly, because you deserve it."
Regina couldn't keep the smile off her face. She hugged her blonde friend tightly.
"So what do you say; care to do some undercover work?"
