She raised him up. Showed him that sometimes you couldn't take life on. And yet, she helped him walk his own stormy sea. She helped him be more than he could be.

They had both hungered for something. When he first met her, he was filled with wonder. She had no clue what she did to him. He could spend eternity with her.

He came towards the end of the stage as she ran through the crowd of nobles. Her passage was rude but for once it was obvious to him that she didn't care.

He caught her as she did a flying leap onto the stage. Swinging her around to keep his balance, he hugged her. He allowed her to hit him before kissing her full on the lips in front of a shocked audience. They had both raised each other up to more than they could be.
