Chapter Title: Cuckoo
Disclaimer: The Legend of Zelda does NOT belong to me
A/N: Link can talk, and Sheik is a guy, got it? Good.
"YOU FRIGGIN BIRD!!! STOP CALLING YOUR OTHER BUDDIES! GYAAAAAA!!!!"
"Thereasa Marie! Will you keep your voice down!"
"B-but…the damn cuckoo killed me." Whimpered a teenaged girl, about 16, with her midnight black hair ending and the bottom of her shoulder blades. Her bangs were parted in the middle, dyed neon green and they went to her chin. Her eyes were quite unique, a bright blue, almost glowing. Her skin was common, not to tan yet not to pale. Though it was difficult to see through the baggy green Zelda sweatshirt, she does seem to have what many people would call a perfect body. Thin, but still some body fat, in all the right places too!
"You know I don't like that language young lady!"
"Sorry mom…" pouted Thereasa
"Well, as long as you taking a break, you can help me with some chores."
"WHAAT?! Awww jeez." Complained Thereasa as she got up from the couch in a lazy manner.
"Can you go into the attic for me? I need the fan from up there."
"Yeah, yeah…wait" she froze in mid-stride 'the…attic? W-where s-s-spiders are? How can it get any worse?" she thought as she climbed the stairs leading into the attic. With a great heave, she pushed open the old door. Thereasa always hated spiders, but after running into a giant Skulltulla in Zelda: Ocarina of Time at the age of 7, her fear only grew. "Why do I need to go up here? Mom knows I hate the attic…yuck, it's so old and crusty up here…gotta be dangerous too…" she said while groping her way through the darkness until she reached the wall where the light switch should be.
Feeling around until she found the light switch, then she flipped the switch to on. "……great…light bulb's burned out…" Said Thereasa as she flipped the switch on and off, over and over again. "Knew I shoulda brought a flashlight…" As she left her right hand resting on the wall a tiny spider crawled on her hand, feeling something tickling her hand she looked closely.
The look on her face was pure horror, eyes wide, her face white due to blood draining. "AAAHHHHHHHHH!!!" Thereasa screamed, flailing her arm everywhere while walking backwards, until her foot stepped on a weird symbol on the floor. All that was heard was more screaming and the breaking of boards. "Oh owww…my foot…" She whimpered in pain. Thankfully only her left leg went through the floor. "This place IS dangerous, I'll go tell mom that we need to fix it." As our young heroine gets up the remaining part of her falls through the floor, but she doesn't fall into the living room, she falls, and falls, and falls.
