A/N: Another Clary/Sebastian scene for dianasoren in our Fanfiction challenge.
Jonathan Morgenstern had been waiting forever to meet the girl he knew was his sister. But he didn't think he'd be posing as someone else.
When he had brought Clary to the burnt remains of his father's old house, he could easily see how broken she had become. Who wouldn't be after seeing where their grandparents had died.
And then, he couldn't he help it.
He kissed her.
He knew exactly who he was kissing.
His sister.
But it felt so right.
And he knew it shouldn't.
He pressed his lips harder onto hers, holding her in his grip.
And then, he remembered, to love is to destroy.
But it only seemed a distant thought.
And then she pulled away.
"This, it feels wrong," she whispered, "It feels like kissing a brother."
That's exactly what it is, he thought.
Sebastian grabbed her wrists, and looked her in the eyes. He wanted desperately to run his hands through her curly red hair, which looked nothing like his sleek blonde hair, and to kiss her once more.
And he knew that, one way or another, one day, one day soon, he would get to.
