Cy: We've been thinking about doing this for a while now, and finally, Veroxen shoved me over facebook and said, "Start us off!" These will most likely not reference each other, but they will reference events that happened in the story The Legend of Dragoon. So, here is the first cracked scene from our crossover of Legend of Dragoon and Kingdom Hearts.
Pigs...?
Axel ran down the path towards the commotion he'd heard, wondering what it could be. He finally came to a fork in the road, and saw two soldiers come up from his left. They stopped in front of him and Axel stared.
Pigs.
The soldiers were riding pigs.
"Who are you?" the closer one demanded.
"Are you a mercenary of Basil?" the other one said, pointing his lance at Axel's chest.
Axel gently pushed the lance aside. "I'm not sure if you're trying to be intimidating, but if you are, it's not working," he said.
Both soldiers looked at each other and then, the first one yelled, "We are soldiers of Imperial Sandora! You should be terrified of what we could do to you!"
The other just said a quick "Yeah!" before Axel sighed.
"Look, I'm sorry, but it's just not working. I mean, come on, you're riding pigs. How in the world do you expect to scare people if you're riding a domesticated barnyard animal that's not that much bigger than I am? At least a horse can do some real damage if it wants to; all a pig's gonna do is maybe bite my knee," Axel said.
Both the soldiers sat on their pigs, gaping at this man who dared to insult the Sandoran War-Boar.
"Look, I really want to get home, so I'll be going this way now," Axel said, and pointed in the direction that the two soldiers had come from. He started to move, but then the ground shook and the trees started to fall around them. The two soldiers kicked their pigs in the sides and ran off toward their left, down the other path, as a giant preying mantis bore down on Axel.
Shit, he thought, and ran.
