She could feel it under her skin(pressurepressurepressure). She felt it everyday. She couldn't please everyone, could she?She was what everyone wanted her to be, even if it meant being five different people all at once. Only they knew what it was like. Only they didn't know half of it for her. (nononono)
She sorted into Gryffindor, her father was ever so proud and loved her more.
She was top of her year, her mother shed many a happy tear.
She played Quidditch to please her family,
She became prefect too,
head girl after that,
she dated the only golden boy she wasn't related to.
She was perfect.
Thats only what her parents, aunts, uncles and grandparents saw.
She studied till her brain was raw. She wasn't as smart as her mother, she was above average at best. She worked (sososo) hard, but only he saw. She didn't even like playing quidditch for her house. She didn't want to be a lion. She didn't want to be perfect.
Thats when it got to much. In her fifth year she started drinking and cutting to deal with stress. Only two saw, neither said anything.
Sixth year was when she broke free. She dumped her golden boy, he was to boring (perfectperfectperfect). She went to the party instead of going to the library. She wore heavier eye make up, she wore a tighter cut off sweater top, she let her hair out, she wore a denim mini skirt, she even wore heels. She had a drink before anyone noticed. He noticed from the start, he always noticed. He danced with her and told her he was glad that she was starting to be herself. She smiled beatifically and thanked him for not putting any pressure on her (freefreefree). She went to her cousin Dominique who had her share of suspicions in how her perfect cousin was, but placed no blame. She knew what it's like to fill big shoes. She helped her with her transformation. She started wearing tighter, form fitting tops like most girls, her skirts were shorter (still covering everything unlike some girls) she found all sorts of beauty spells and found easier ways to retain information. She felt lighter. No word of her partying got back to her parents, thank merlin. She didn't have a boyfriend, but he was always there. And that was more then enough. At least for now.
