We don't own Castle, never had, never will

After detective Beckett closed her mom's murder case, she and Castle continued their relationship, that just like other people they knew it was forever and that's why they gave a step further and they married.

They continued their normal activities, Castle helping Kate resolving cases at the 12, he writing more books for the Nikki Heat series, book tours and showing how much they love each other.

Alexis was in her last year of college, she was dating a guy nothing serious though. Once Kate and Rick got engaged, Martha moved out from the loft, Castle didn't asked her to leave, she thought that it was better give them privacy, besides her acting school was going so great that she preferred live close to it

A few months later the happiness arrived to the Castle loft, when Kate found out she was 3 months pregnant, they were thrilled with the news, because they wanted a baby for so long. Martha and Alexis were ecstatic too. Alexis always wanted a little sibling though; it came 18 years too late

Five months later they welcomed their first son, a beautiful baby boy with brown hair like Castle's and big green eyes like Kate's.

They named him Nicholas James, because Castle said that the baby was part him and Kate's, just like Nikki , and that it was the perfect name, plus Nick and Rick sounds pretty cool or that was he told her and James after Kate's dad. At first Kate wasn't very happy with the idea of naming the boy after Nikki Heat, but Castle convinced her.

After Nick was born, Rick had to stop shadowing Beckett, because they didn't want their son be raised by a nanny, so Castle and Beckett decided that he'd be the one looking after the baby, just like he did with Alexis. He could go to the precinct when Martha or Alexis offered watch Nick, but usually he preferred spending time with his son.

When Nick started preschool, Castle came back to the precinct to help Kate, and do more research for the Nikki Heat books.

Castle and Beckett never talked about having more kids, but they took a surprise when Kate discovered she was pregnant again; the couple was overjoyed with the news, having another baby running around the loft.

A couple months later they received their second child, another boy, he was a very beautiful baby, with huge blue eyes, the ones Kate wanted were there to stay, a perfect match with Castle's. They named him Jonah Alexander.

From the moment Jonah was born, Kate knew he was the missing piece in their family, he completed them.

At first Nick was a little apprehensive about having a baby brother, but it didn't took long enough for him to adjust to the idea of no longer being under the spotlight.

Jonah was the typical 3 year old, he loved playing with race cars and he liked dinosaurs they were one of his favorite things, he enjoyed go to the Hamptons and play with his older siblings, he always danced before bedtime and all the time he go to wake his parents up, jumping in their bed. He was a mommy's boy; he usually said she was his best friend.

Everyone at the 12 adored him; he even had Gates wrapped around his little finger, he liked to visit the precinct because he said that his mom and uncles Ryan and Esposito were superheroes. But he couldn't visit to often, cause it wasn't a place for kids.
