ONE SHOT
A quick short story of ZoroxLuffy, on Valentines Day…
Luffy was bored. Nami was saying something about some special day and how there was chocolate involved. Luffy just didn't get it. You could people chocolate any day, why make a day for it?
Luffy didn't get Nami's explanation so he went to Sanji. Partly because the day involved chocolate and Sanji was a cook and partly because Sanji was eating. Sanji wiped up a quick steak for Luffy, who asked, "Ne, Sanji, what's Valentines Day?"
Sanji looked shocked, "Valentines Day is THE most important day ever! It's when you give the one you love chocolate to show how much you love them."
Luffy still didn't get it, "Why chocolate?"
Sanji put his hand on his heart, "Why is not important, it's all about the feelings-"
Luffy was already gone.
"Ne, Robin, what's Valentines Day?" He asked.
Robin picked up a book by her side, she was sunbathing with Nami. Only Nami was sleeping, Robin was reading, "Valentines Day is the day of love, Luffy. If you like someone, what do you do?"
Luffy blinked and thought hard, his face turned red and the rotten cogs in his brain turned slowly, "Tell them?"
Robin nodded, "And, if you gave them food too, they'll accept you, get it?"
Luffy nodded, "Yeah, food is good but why chocolate?"
Robin picked up a huge book entitled, 'chocolate,' and said, "Read this-"
Luffy was gone.
He climbed up to Zoro's room, maybe he knew why chocolate was involved. Food was good, chocolate was good but meat was the BEST!
Zoro was sleeping so Luffy shook him awake, "Ne, Zoro-"
"Shut up, I'm sleeping."
"No, Zoro, you're awake."
"I WAS sleeping…"
"…Ne, Zoro-"
"SHUT UP."
Luffy pouted, "No. Zoro why do they use chocolate on Valentines Day?"
Zoro sighed, "'Cause chocolate tastes good with sake."
"I get it!"
Luffy ran out of the room and Zoro was relived, now he could get a good nap-
"HERE!" Luffy shoved a bar of chocolate a mug of sake under Zoro's nose, "For Valentines Day!"
Zoro blushed, "You give it to a girl, stupid."
"But I don't like any girls and I like you Zoro!"
"HUH?" Zoro said, wondering how this had happened.
Luffy nodded, "You're special, Zoro."
Zoro blushed bright red and took the chocolate and sake, "Thanks…"
"Yeah, so you accept me?"
"Whatever…"
And Luffy leaned in close to Zoro; strangely the swordsman found he didn't want to move away.
"I changed my mind, I like chocolate too!" Luffy took Zoro's chocolate and ran out of the room.
For once, Zoro didn't run after him.
