The music played lightly in her ears as she lifted the pencil in her hand. She did this all the time, drawing while listening to music.

Her family or friends would sometimes ask what she was doing. Her reply was always a simple one, but one that seemed to confuse them all to this day.
Don't the best of them bleed it out
while the rest of them peter out

Her pencil touched the paper and she let her hand take over. With her hand she listened to the music. With her hand she listened to the words. It seemed the rest of her body was just a bystander, merely observing the blank paper suddenly becoming filled.

Time passed by and the song eventually ended, but no worries. She had this song on repeat. The guitarist would keep strumming, the drummer would keep drumming, and the singer would keep singing until she was done. She picked up her pencil suddenly and tugged her earphones out of her ears. She was done.
"Hey Paige," she heard someone greet from behind her. "What are you up to?"
She smiled. Prue would always ask what she was doing, and she always gave the same answer.
"Just drawing the music."

She stood up and handed both the paper and the earphones to her before exiting the room. Prue looked down at the paper and studied the picture Paige had drawn of her. What song reminded Paige of her?
She lifted the earphones to her ears and listened.
