"Ugggghh, how high do these stairs go?" I complained to my weapon partner, Sabrina, while leaning my head on her shoulder. "I don't know," she had an irritated tone in her voice. The sun was laughing at us, probably because we are so pathetic. It's our first day at the DWMA, and we have no idea what's going on. "Hey, get off of me!" she pushed my head off of her shoulder. "We're here." I looked up. "Oh my God…" was all I could say. This place was huge! "How many students do you think go here?" I asked her nervously. "I… don't know." We stood there with our jaws to the floor while everyone else slowly came. "Hey," We turned around. There was a girl with long hair tied up in pigtails looking at us. "I'm Maka. You guys are new here, aren't you?" We both nodded. "Oh, well Lord Death told me that you guys had all the same classes at me, so I'll show you to them." She smiled. "Ok" me and Sabrina both replied. Wow, our first day and someone is already nice to us.
We were heading to our first class with Maka when a boy with white hair walked past us. He growled, "I'm gonna kill him." Maka stopped him before he passed us. "Hey, what's wrong Soul?"
"Me and Black Star got into another fight. Now I need to go talk to Sid."
"Want me to come with you?"
"No, I'm good."
He stormed off. "That's my weapon partner, Soul Eater." Maka sighed "He's really good friends with Black Star but for some reason they started getting into a bunch of fights." We started walking to our first class.
We were one of the first few people to get into the classroom. The teacher was there and did he have a… A screw in his head? He was sitting down, in a rolling char, cranking a screw in his head until he heard a click. The rest of the class got came in. "So, today we will practice our soul resonance" The teacher got up. Maka told me that his name was Frankenstein? Odd. He continued "Because some of you." He glared at two students in the back of the class. "Haven't mastered it yet." "Um, excuse me," one of the students said. "But Black Star and Tsubaki are the only ones who haven't mastered it, right?" he said with a smirk. Then, a boy with blue hair and a star tattoo on his shoulder stood up. Maka leaned over to us "That's Black Star. He has a really big ego but once you get to know him, he's really nice." "So, are you saying that you better than us?" Black Star said, glaring at the black-haired boy who, also, stood up. "Exactly" Maka leaned over to us again. "That's Death the Kid, he's the son of Lord Death."
"You wanna prove it?" Black Star looked like he was gonna punch Kid.
"Sure. Liz, Patty." Two girls who looked like sisters stood up next to Kid. They turned into pistols and Kid grabbed them. "Tsubaki," Black Star turned to his weapon partner who also stood up. "Enchanted Sword mode!"
