Hi, kk hurr! So, I followed a writing blog on tumblr (towriteprompts) where it gives you sentences to insert into your story and ideas like that! The bold sentences are from that blog. Enjoy!

Love is pointless. I learned that from a friend when her boyfriend cheated on her with her supposed 'bestie'.

I stood next to the purple haired fangirl, "I'm really worried for her. I'm going to go check on her."

I sat in front of the brunette as she cried her eyes out, a few short hours after she was told her what her boyfriend and best friend had done to her.

I placed my hand on her shoulder and told her everything would be alright.

"Yeah, everything will be alright," She sobbed into her hands, "I'm totally find with the fact he ripped my heart out of my chest, sprinkled salt into the wound, then sewed me up with leather and an ancient needle. Why wouldn't I be?" She sniffled as more tears moistened her hands.

"Ya'know," I gently pulled her head up with the tips of my fingers of my left hand that previously rested on her shoulder, "Crying doesn't solve anything. Yet, crying is not meanlingless, those tears are just a sign you're alive."

Courtney jerked her head away from my hand, "I wouldn't expect you to understand."

"If you asked me, I'd stay away from them for a couple of day. Don't make eye contact."

"They'll think of me as a coward."

"Life's too short to care about people's opinions of you. I've been completely ignoring what people think of me since the fourth grade."

The tanned girl sighed, "Today would be a great day to catch the plague. Or even get voted off. I can think of a million places I'd rather be."

"You're a terrible liar. Even Lindsay knows you wouldn't want to be voted off."

She giggled, "Why are you being so nice to me?"

"Let me tell you a secret," I leaned close to her ear and whispered, "No one has a heart of stone," I leaned back and put my index finger against my lips, "But, shh, we wouldn't want everyone else know, now would we?" She smiled but looked down and stopped.

It was silence for a while, a well needed silences I suppose. The freckled face that had been staring at the ground looked up at me, "You know, I would rather hear the truth than a dirty lie like the one that dumb and dumber told me."

"I know, but guess what," She tilted her head, "This experience has taught you something, yeah?"

"Yeah, don't trust green haired punks and teal haired goths."

"That's my girl! And wow, you look terrible. We need to get that red nose and puffy eyes of your's back to normal."

We laughed as Sierra, obviously eavesdropping, handed Courtney a box of tissues. She pretended it didn't hurt, but I knew it did.

"No more crying, okay? I wish you wouldn't cry like that. It brings out the best in me and makes me feel weird."

"Okay, Heather. Thank you."

"Don't mention it."

I think that's the day I realized that not everyone I came upon needed to be hated and pushed around...well maybe a little but Courtney, I think we'll always be almost friends.
