Popcorn?
"I smell popcorn." He said sniffing the air in Carly Shay's apartment.
"You do?"
"Yeah I do." He stuck his nose farther toward me.
"What are you doing?"
"You smell like popcorn!"
"Really?" I sniff myself. "No I don't."
He sniffed heavily. "You sure? I sure do smell popcorn."
Then I came across a realization. "If you smell something, then you should smell my gas." I giggled and sniffed the air. "Now I kinda smell popcorn, but it's not."
He had a disgusting look on his face. "Oh, geez!" He scooted away.
I raised by eye brow. "Well, you're the one that said it smelt good!"
I think he was embarrassed because he would not look at me. He just kept his back toward the wall, holding his nose. Now, why? If he said it smelt like popcorn, then why would he be disgusted by it. I don't know. Guys are so confusing.
"Girls are so confusing!" He snapped back. I must've said that last thought out-loud.
"Did I just say that?"
"Yes." He was still turned toward the wall.
I suddenly got up from the couch and walked over to him. He was on the chair by the counter top. I just stood there for a second, then walked to the cupboard and got a bag of popcorn. I dangled it in front of his face as if he wanted to gag. "What's wrong? You look sick." I asked and he growled at me. I placed the bag in the microwave and set it to a minute and thirty seconds.
The smell must've really made him gag, because before I knew it there was vomit on the floor.
"Ew! I'm not cleaning that up." I said as the microwave beeped. I took out the popcorn, opened the bag and popped one in my mouth. "Yum!" He looked at me one last time and that's when he ran out the door, gagging some more. I don't think he's going to eat popcorn anymore...
Maybe I shouldn't have told him it was my gas. Either way, I'd laugh anyway, just because it was Freddie being weird.
