Charles loved early mornings at the school. The peaceful atmosphere of slumbering youth was akin to a warm bath for the
telepath and he savored it. Today, he had another reason and it lay beside him.
Ororo stretched languidly, her hair fanning out, a bewitching contrast to her skin.
Like always, her thoughts were a mystery to him, blocked by the ever-present 'static' her powers created. It was, in
truth, something he secretly enjoyed. Storm kept him guessing, was proud of her ability to do so.
And, as he was beginning to see, a little mystery was a good thing.
