Author's Note: Okay, well here I am on a random computer… I just thought I'd put something out there. I really have to apologize for my absence to all of those who are trying to read "His Favorite 'Human'" (or even my Junjou Romantica story: Poetica). I owe three chapters as of tomorrow, but I haven't been able to do anything because A) my puppy killed my laptop and B) my internet crashed. But the internet is coming back on today (so I should be able to start uploading for it!) and here is a small tribute to one of my favorite characters/animes. Love you all! ~~Azyn
Dark, midnight etched shadows are thrown against the pavement; casting a wicked flicker throughout the streets. Watching, gathering as he waits. The bits and pieces clicking together as the most obvious of puzzles: unique, but fitting. All of his pawns play for him well, easily following the path he sets for them to find; each of them still thinking they act of their own accord. Wars and gangs all crumble under his feet; People fear his presence as that of a deity, one who knows all… Who sees all…? His smirk can send shivers down hardened criminal spines, as he digs up all of their secretes; his quick mind using and bending his sources to mean anything he needs them to. And why not?
After all, he is Izaya.
The Izaya.
Orihara Izaya.
"IZAYA-KUN!"
The harsh name is projected along with a vending whore, to which he deftly moves from. Strong arms, blonde hair caked with stressful sweat, each detail fueling raven movements. Humans are easy, humans can be loved… Therefore this man cannot be human. He can feel no affection for this person who constantly deviates from the path he lays. Pale skin pulls to smirk besides himself; the lithe figure lunges to pull the sin straight from his opponent's body. His slight blade now stained with vermillion droplets, retreats back as quickly as the maniacal man. His fur rimmed jacket flutters away as he runs; his laughing voice echoing – stressing each syllable – to ensure they meet again; each encounter like a gossamer web of bi polar emotions.
"Sayonara, Shi-zu-chan~!"
