The soft Southern drawl stopped the scientist in his tracks and he turned to find a young woman, dark-haired save
for two white streaks which framed her face, standing a few feet away. "Yes?"

She moved closer. "You're a geneticist, right? Worked at a place called Genomex?"

Instantly wary, he nodded once.

"You're like an expert in gene manipulatin' right?"

"I suppose I could be considered that." Adam demurred. "May I ask...who are you?"

She smiled, gloved hand brushing a hair away from her cheek. "I'm Rogue...I'm a mutant...and I think you can help me."
