You look at me with those innocent eyes
Seeing through my pathetic disguise.
Sweet longing for you drives me crazy with grief.
Sweet misery; it drives me insane,
It tears at my heart.
At night I dream of you.
And your crazy blue eyes.
The sun reflects the light in your hair,
The moon making you ever more mysterious.
Out of the corner of my eyes I see your face
Hiding along the edge of the light,
Far away from the crowd.
Each time I see you never seems to be enough
I want to speak to you
Yet I cannot find the words to use.
I try to make them just roll of my tongue
But not a sound seems to come.
The gods just seem to want me to torment me
With each sweet glance of your face
Makes me want to linger more.
I want to say it to you,
Believe me, I do.
I want to say the words, I love you.
Would you say them back?
Crazy blue eyes,
You make me mad with longing.
I toss and turn forever it seems,
Savoring each word of yours
That you said to me today.
Like a shadow you are always by my side
And it troubles me I never noticed before.
It's simply tragic how the birds never seem to sing your sweet name
For I just want to jump for joy whenever I hear it called.

It's sad how the flowers seem to wilt and weep
With every drop of tears that you and I shed.
Your voice is like sweet, sweet honey,
That I want to collect and delight in its sincerity.
Your hair is like a gem to be treasured

To be taken out only on the loneliest of nights.
It's a wonder I have never noticed
How the days just seem to pass me by
Without calling out your name.
