Eternal Shards
Angelic face, Hellish fate
I try to follow him-
But much too late
I've lost my prince, my gem
Te words hurt me too much
I lie amid the leaves, the trees
Try not to think of his cool touch
My tears could drown the seas
Months pass, the pain remains
The blood still flows
Through my deep blue veins...
But I don't think he knows
I'm forbidden to remember
But I refuse to forget
Each night I surrender-
I wish we'd never met.
AN: I wrote this while in the midst of reading New Moon, before Eclipse came out. It came to me suddenly, and I just wrote it.
