Every night he dreams of Jean.
Except...it's not Jean. Her face but not her face. Not her face, not her smile, not her laugh, not her eyes.
Jean but not Jean.
He dreams of her saying things, doing things, that Jean would never say, never do.
She's Jean but not Jean.
He wonders if she's someone from before. From before the claws, before the blinding pain. Someone he loved.
Awake, he sees Jean and can't help wondering. Are these feelings for her? Is the connection he feels...is it for her?
