Notes: Big thanks to Hotaru who told me about the scene during the first five lines (the dialogue) even thought nether of us have read up to that point in the Manga or seen a single episode of the anime... but we're getting there, the library just got the 7th graphic novel .^_^; Anyway Hotaru went and hacked past the stupid password system on our computer to get the scene for me.
Cold
"NANI DESU KA?!?!?!"
"A red light shone from her body. I couldn't go near her body"
"Couldn't or Wouldn't?"
"Don't cross me Tomo"
"Hai Gomen Nasai Nakago-sama"
A flash of silver black hair swaying with a head lowering and them the then was empty space and the tent was silent. Nakago leaned back slightly in her chair and shook his head. Tomo would never learn, even through the mask he could see the faint emotions, relief and annoyance at Nakago, telling him that Tomo hadn't been happy with his own plan and had been annoyed with Nakago for not completing it... not anger, Tomo wouldn't risk that.
"Soon..." he whispered, his shoulder ached but he ignored it. Soon he would be a god, he would have his revenge on the world that had been so cruel to him. 'But what about those who don't deserve it?" a traitorous voice at the back of his mind murmured,
"They all deserve it"
'Really?'
"Hai"
'What about Tomo?'
"What about him?"
'He's only supported you, he could have made himself great with the knowledge of everything he has learned but he's stayed with you, only you'
"Yes, I've wondered about that"
'Why does he do that... he could easily betray you and you wouldn't know anything about it'
"......"
'? What's the silence for? But you don't have to worry, he wont betray you, his loyalty is so strong'
"Why is that though?"
'His feelings'
"NANI????????"
'I'm not explaining that... think through it yourself'
"...you're a voice at the back of my mind and you're telling me to think for myself?"
'Yes... Now got to sleep...'
"They say that talking to oneself is the first sign of sanity"
'Ha ha very funny... not'
"Is this really what my thoughts are like?"
'No this is just my part of the mind... now think about what we were talking about to begin with'
"It doesn't matter, I've gone to far now to change now... I will have revenge"
'What about Tomo?'
"I will spare him and reward him for his loyalty"
'Provided he survives'
"Pardon?"

Nakago lay down and pulled the cover over him, a shiver ran through him. Suddenly he was so cold... and his pelvis hurt ached slightly like something was going to happen... so cold... cold. His eyes slid shut and he slept.
