Prompt #341 (Emotion) Jealously
"Careful Ronnie; your jealously is clearly showing." Kevin smirked as he gently bumped shoulders with the slightly shorter brunnette at his side.
Veronica didn't tear her eyes off from where Betty was standing talking with Archie and Jughead. With both boys standing way to closely to the blonde for her liking. A growl tore from her throat as she gripped the red solo cup into a ball. Not feeling the liquid on her hands and her dress.
"This isn't how you are going to get my sister on your side." Polly was standing in front of the angry brunette. Her eyes firmly locked onto the firey chocolate ones.
"Don't even." Veroncia growled. Her eyes moving over Polly's shoulder to find that Betty was suddenly in a crushing hug with both boys. Raw anger and pain hit her.
Polly sighed. "They are best friends. Those two boys are just as much Betty's brother's as Chic is."
"I can't be here right now." Veronica spoke. She turned and stormed towards the side door. She needed to be outside. She needed to be out of this closed up crowed heated room. She needed to try to get the cold winter's night air to help her calm down. Otherwise she fully knew that she wouldn't be able to control her anger otherwise. She would finally manage to drive Betty away from her if she just didn't cool down.
Polly felt her sister's eyes on her. She turned to face a very worried Betty across the room. She shook her head. Betty took a step forward. Then paused and with a lowered head she stepped back between Archie and Jughead.
"I shouldn't have tried to joke Veronica out of it." Kevin sighed. "I knew better."
Polly remained silent her eyes glued on her little sister. She watched as Jughead slipped his arm around her waist; and gently pull him closer to him. Archie was still smiling and talking. She sighed. She knew Jughead would take care of her sister for her.
