30 year old Spencer Cavanaugh is driving her son to baseball practice like every Monday and Wednesday. Her son, Mark was 8 years old and even though he was the only who had to go somewhere, Spencer had to bring along her three other kids because they couldn't be at home alone. Toby was still at work, at his job as a carpenter. Spencer worked during the day as an interior designer. She was always home when the kids got home. The kids were at school during the day and her little one, Lilly stayed with Aunt Emily or Aunt Melissa.

"Sophia stop touching my arm! Move over!" screamed 5-year-old Drew from the back seat. "Well you're sitting too close to me," replied Sophia with her little 7-year-old attitude she was quickly developing. While this was going on, 2 year old Lilly was in the back seat singing "Lalala" like a baby does. "Guys please," Spencer pleaded with her children.

As she pulled up she turned to Mark, "Have fun sweetie, Jake's parents are taking you home and I will have dinner ready for you later, okay?" "Okay mommy," he said, running to go join the other children.

As she pulled away she said, "Who's gonna help me cook tonight?" "ME! MOM ME!" cried Drew suddenly getting excited. "No me, mom I want to help!" cried Sophia. Spencer laughed, "You can both help me!"

She was told from her parents to enjoy her kids' eagerness to help her with things now because it wouldn't be like this when they were older. When she arrived home she helped Drew and Sophia out of their car seats and they ran to the house.

Lastly, she helped out Lilly and picked her up. "I wana see daddy" she said in her soft voice. "He'll be home soon, Lilly. I wanna see him too!" said Spencer carrying her into the house. It was 4:30 and Toby usually came home around 5:00. Spencer cleaned up the house from earlier and started cooking.

Toby arrived home a little after 5:00 and all three kids ran to him as soon as he swung open the door "DADDY" cried Sophia jumping into his arms "Sophie!" "How's my Drewster today?" Toby said while messing with his hair. "Good, I helped mommy cook," he said.

Lilly was sitting at his feet hugging his leg. "I need somebody's help real fast!" Spencer said about to drop a jar of sauce. "I got it!" said Drew running over to help Spencer. He was such a mama's boy.

"I'm hungry," cried Sophia. "Hey why don't you guys go watch TV for a little bit and then dinner will be ready," said Toby. "Okay," said Sophie, taking Lilly's hand and taking her to the living room with Drew.

Toby went behind Spencer who was at the stove and wrapped his arms around her waist. "Smells good" he mumbled kissing her neck. Spencer giggled and turned around running her hand through his hair. "How was work?" she asked. "It was alright. It was like every other day. Glad it's Friday." "Me too," sighed Spencer. "Remember tomorrow we're all going to Aria's for the twins' 4th birthday." "Oh yeah I forgot that was tomorrow," said Toby.

They heard a shriek from the kids in the living room. "DAD there's a bug HELP, QUICK!" "You better go, exterminator," Spencer joked. "Okay… ill let the chef get back to her work," said Toby, lightly kissing her on the lips.

Spencer smiled as Toby went to the living room yelling, "I'm here to save my children from a monster!" The kids laughed and Spencer also laughed to herself. He was a great dad AND husband. And he was all hers.
