Congratulations! Instead of going to your AA meeting, you went and bought a MEIKO unit! While you're still sober, read this manual!

Common Personality Settings

Sober

Drunk

The Sober mode is just that; sober. With that said, while your MEIKO unit is sober, she will remain a calm, collected motherly figure to the younger VOCALOID units.

The Drunk mode, however, is nearly the opposite. She becomes amazingly destructive and aggressive, and any attempts to apprehend her will be stopped immediately by a blindly-thrown object. The only way to stop a drunk MEIKO unit is with either high-powered sedative, or for you to wait for her to calm down. This can take hours, though, so keep the tranquilizer gun close at hand.

Other Compatible/Incompatible Units

KAITO: The "partner" unit to these ones, MEIKO acts like a responsible older sister towards the KAITO unit, even though their builds show much different. The two are called "Elder family" by the younger VOCALOID units. Dual ownership is recommended.

LEN KAGAMINE: MEIKO units are especially protective towards these units, and will actually smother them with affection at the slightest cute face. Ownership is optional.

LUKA MEGURINE: MEIKO units are actually very close to these units, and consider them "sisters". Ownership is optional.

LILY: MEIKO units are good friends with LILY units, and will consider them "sisters". Ownership is optional.

HAKU YOWANE: MEIKO units are actually good drinking buddies for these units, and the two will get drunk together on a daily basis. Ownership is recommended.

Handling and Care

MEIKO units, while sober, as said before, are mature and responsible. That already being established, they are self-sufficient, and are also independent.

When drunk, however, MEIKO units will become quite clingy when they're not destroying everything in sight. If you are clung to by yours after passing out, make sure you put her down gently on the bed you gave her. If you did not give your MEIKO unit a bed, then by god, get her a bed!

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I hide the alcohol from my MEIKO unit?

A: Unfortunately, no. MEIKO units have noses that are fine-tuned towards the scent of alcohol.

Q: How can my MEIKO unit get drunk? Isn't it a machine?

A: Technically, yes and no. It is produced as a machine, but it can function, act, and even FEEL like a real person. This goes for any unit we sell.

Q: Occasionally, I notice my MEIKO, LUKA, LILY, and HAKU units join together and shout out "FOUR BOOB SISTERS, UNITE!" What is this about?

A: It was an odd joke brought about by our original MEIKO, LUKA MEGURINE, LILY, and HAKU YOWANE units. After consuming a liberal amount of alcohol, they noticed they had the largest... Size... Out of all of the female VOCALOID units. They decided to call themselves "The Four Boob Sisters," and the trait carried into later units. This is not a problem, and should be ignored. Until they break your house.
