A/N: Fandom February Prompt 5: Empty. Pairing/Characters: Dorian/Jekyll.

Henry stepped into his room. Well, it had been their room, but now it was.. Empty.

Dorian was dead.

He wasn't in this room, reading a book. Making snarky comments about society, Sawyer, and science. Not smiling. Nor being a complete jerk, either.

The memories felt empty too. Dorian had been lying throughout their relationship.

Henry should've known better. He simply should have. How many times had Henry been lied to? It didn't bear thinking about.

The last thing Henry would have expected was Dorian to up and betray them. To have betrayed him. How could Dorian have just stolen so liberally from Henry?

And he wasn't referring to just the formula.

How many times had Dorian kissed him? Said he loved him? Or at the very least, made him feel better about himself?

It was all a lie.

Henry knew that now.

Dorian had never loved Henry.

And now Henry felt empty.
