I am no longer grounded, I'm flying out of control.
I'm like a leaf in the wind, sailing, but I don't know where I want to go.
If only you knew the fixation I have for you.
If you paid attention you would see that my bitterness is my cover up.
My bitterness covers me like a dark mask that is hiding a soft, delicate creature.
If only you knew the dreams I have about you.
They seem so real until I have to wake up to reality.
A reality of confusion and of wants I can't have.
If only I knew what I had…
If I paid more attention I would noticed the soft touches and stares.
If only fate didn't stand in the way, we could live a happy ending together.
But we ignored each other, ignored the feelings, and now we have nothing.
Nothing but a prolonged fixation.
I wanted to do something different and get into a little poetry. *Snaps*. This poem was about how Leah and Jacob both had feelings for each other, but neither one of them told each other.
