The Search
Chapter 1:
Hayate.
Kazumi a sweet little girl who lived in the forest was on a search for her brother Hayate. She was in the forest when she heard something rustle in the bush. She turned round and looked into the darkness. "Hayate, is that you? Kazumi called in a worried but excited voice. She had no reply and lost her excitement. She carried on walking till she got to the dark place a place where no one goes except her brother.
She looked around in the trees and in the bushes but no sign of her brother being here. She was starting to cry when suddenly a ninja weapon flew just past only just missing her. She looked back there in the darkness was a figure well more than one about ten maybe twelve. She put up her hair quickly and jumped high into the trees only to see her figure standing there. She looked ahead there in the darkness was her brothers best friend Hayabusa.
She thought to herself what if Hayabusa had come to rescue her from the forest think to save her from the ninja troops. But then she decided to run so she ran off well jumped from tree to tree still looking for her brother. She then realised that Hayabusa was not rescuing her because he was a ninja to and he had come to kill her. She did know him as a nice guy but if he came with a lode of ninja troops which are trying to get her, he was now evil. She did not like this thought but carried on running her mind set on Hayate.
She got back to her apartment where she was staying while the damage was fixed where she had been attacked one night by the ninja troops. On her the floor just outside was a present in a lemon yellow wrapping with a bright yellow ribbon. She knew only one person who liked the colour yellow "Lei-Fang." She said as she opened the present in side was a small box what looked like the box of earrings or a necklace. She opened the little box very carefully and inside was the most beautiful earrings you have ever seen. They were in the shape of a diamond with little bits of writing saying Hayate is near. She got up and ran off to Lei-Fang's apartment as she lived in the house to (The one that was destroyed).
Kazumi only had to run about five apartments down as she was staying as near as possible so they could talk. She knocked on the door but there was no reply. She knocked again still no reply. "Lei-Fang are you in!" Kazumi called she looked up the number had gone and there was a hole where it had been. She looked through the hole and she saw some ninja troops surrounding her asking her where Kazumi was. She kept really quiet then she turned the handle really slowly and then pushed the door open. She crept up behind got out her knife and spun round and killed all of them. She then shifted the bodies to the next apartment so it did not look like they did it. She turned to Lei-Fang. "Are you all right?" Kazumi asked in her sweet voice. "Fine now. Think it was just a shock." Lei-Fang replied relieved.
Kazumi and Lei-Fang fixed the hole in the door and then went in to have a drink. "I got the present from you." Kazumi said thankfully. "What present?" Lei-Fang replied shocked. "The one outside my door the earrings that say Hayate is near." Kazumi replied thinking that Lei-Fang would have known. "I didn't send you a present. If I did I would give it to you in person not by the door," Lei-Fang said "I think we need to find out who gave you that present cause it definitely wasn't me! She said finishing her sentence. "Yes, I think we do." Replied Kazumi. "Tomorrow morning first thing and you will need all your strength. In fact I think you need to stay at my apartment just in case of ninja troops." Kazumi said.
