Author's note: this is just a little prologue to an experiment I've been entertaining. (I actually published this and then deleted it but now it's back haha) oh and this has an oddly similar setup to "The Price One Must Pay" by Immortal Fallen Radiance (which is brilliant to go check it out! But this is completely different it just has the same feel I think) and in my defense I originally came up with the idea/story before her (his?) story was published so I am not copying the idea at all! Anyway I wanted to see if I'm able to see if I'm to write something raw, something you don't walk away from smiling. This is rated M because there will be language and there will be adult themes and they will be kind of out of character (but that's the whole point of the story). As for age: J.P. is a senior in high school; Zoe, Takuya and the twins are juniors and Tommy is a freshman. So here's the prologue (in no particular point of view) for your enjoyment (?)
Disclaimer: Once this story is complete you'll realize Disney would never show this
We were heroes, we saved a countless number of lives and yet we couldn't save ourselves. We should have been ok, we were destined to be ok. I guess destiny can't be on our side all of the time and before we knew it the stars were falling out of line and what we saw in the shadows was more alluring than we could ever imagine.
We were nobodies in this world. The more we were together the more we realized we were alone, we were really fucking alone. Surprisingly though, if you gave us the chance to start over, to never step on the train and to be happy, truly sickeningly happy…we wouldn't do it.
Author's Note: So here it is…again remember that this is just an experiment so I'm sorry if it's bad. I'm just trying it out so please give me any criticism (even though this is just an unnaturally short prologue.) so criticism on any aspect will be greatly appreciated!
