"Silent Heart"

Neji sighed, stepping out of the store. "Byakugan!" He called, using his ability to search for a store that would catch his interest. Seeing none, he turned off his Byakugan and walked on the streets of Konoha.
The boy closed his eyes before re-opening them with Byakugan. Once more no store caught his attention but this time, it was a flash of bright pink heading his way.
'Shit.' He cursed silently, stepping into a random store. 'Hopely she won't find me in here.'
He gaze flickered into the store's household, surprised at the gifts, trinkets and objects they sold. Curiosity got the best of him as he stepped deeper into the store.
While his pale orbs continued to observe, they stopped when they rested on one small trinket. He seemed to be memorized by its beauty.
"Beautiful, isn't it?"
Neji turned around quickly in fighting position, seeming to be caught off. But the small man only remained standing. The teen relaxed, sensing no danger.
"Yes it is." The long brown haired boy stated, continuing to gaze at the object.
"But beauty is not what makes it special, it is what the object represents. Perhaps as a token of how love is so silent or representing on how a heart is so-"
"Fragile." Neji muttered silently, a small trace of pain in his tone.
"What was that?"
"It's nothing. How much for it?"
The old man smiled.
(Scene change)
Neji stepped outside, thanking the man once more before walking away. He closed his eyes, turning the sounds of the outside world off. Then his ninja instincts took over. He turned around, only to have a body tumble on top of him.
He re-opened his pale eyes, only to find himself staring into a pair of emerald orbs. The girl smiled.
"Konnichiwa Neji-kun!"
He nodded. "Sakura."
Sakura frowned at his formalness but out off him, and stood. Neji followed and stood as well. The two stood in silence, letting normal people pass by.
The girl rubbed the back of her head. "So…"
"I have something for you."
Sakura was completely taken back. "What?"
He sighed, reaching into his pocket and took out a box. He held it in front of her. "For you."
"Wow." Once in her hands, she continued. "I don't know what to say. Thank you."
Gently removing the lid, she let out a gasp and pulled out the trinket.
"Neji." She whispered, observing the tiny, clear-made heart shaped glass the boy out her. "It's beautiful."
She looked back, smiling. "Neji I-" She stopped short, seeing that the male was no longer there.
(Scene Change)
He sighed, continuing to gaze at her from a distance with his Byakugan. "I'm not destined to reveal my feelings for her yet. Fate will reveal out moments when its ready, til then my heart will be silent…and unbroken."

A/N: Sorry if it's confusing but the last word means that Neji's unsure how Sakura feels about him so if he doesn't tell her his feelings when she doesn't like him, at least he won't be heartbroken.
