Stormstar's Destiny :D
~Prologue~
As wind howled above the roof of the medicine den, a low moan came from within.
"Bite down on this stick when the pain comes." Said a calm Berryfur. Maplestar padded in.
"Is she alright? Ravenpelt is getting quite... anxious. He has started arguing with the elders." Maplestar chuckled. Then an agonizing shriek came from Ferntail. Every cat seemed to be outside of the medicine den now, waiting for the new kits to arrive.
"Good, one kit is out, two to go." Berryfur said in a worried voice.
"Two?" Ferntail gasped.
"You will be a fine mother." Maplestar said "Now hush my daughter, the other two are ready."
"Almost there, ok your doing fine." Berryfur said. "Good another she-kit. One more your almost done." With one more agonizing ripple that passed through Ferntails body, a tom slid out onto the moss.
"Ravenpelt come on in. Come meet your kits!" Maplestar said.
"Maplestar, may I speak to you, in private?" Berryfur asked.
"What is it?" Maplestar asked, whatever Berryfur wanted to tell her it was obviously important.
"Two out of the three, are... blind." Berryfur said.
"One will have to be a medicine cat, but you can't take on two apprentices at once, and the other can't be a warrior, what will happen to that kit?" Maplestar asked.
"Starclan has taken care of it." Berryfur replied in a somber voice. "One is dead."
Then they heard a cry of a queen, who just lost her kit.
