A/N: I had a hankering for some kiddy klaine and I learnt about lexical-gustatory synaesthesia ( wiki/Lexical-gustatory_synesthesia) and I thought it would be adorable.

"Blaineblaineblaineblaineblaineblaineblaine." Sang Kurt happily. "Blaine." He stopped for a moment, his brow furrowing, and then resumed his repetition. "Blaineblaineblaine." Ever since Blaine Anderson had met Kurt Hummel on their third day of Year One, he had caught Kurt repeating his name many times, and it was starting to spark his curiosity. Blaine had known Kurt for two weeks now, and every time the boy had heard a new word he would repeat it for a couple of days and suddenly stop, or try his hardest never to hear it again.
"Kurt, why do you keep saying my name?" he asked, curiously.
"I just don't know what it is..." said Kurt, seeming not to have heard Blaine. "It's cold. Like those green leaf lollies…"

Suddenly Kurt's eyes went wide. He was staring at a girl with dark brown hair, eating some green lollies out of a bright pink container, with the name Rachel printed across the front. Kurt ran over to her, arms flailing.
"WHAT ARE YOU EATING!" He called. The girl looked startled to say the least. She swished her hair and answered,
"Spearmint leaves." Kurt looked at Blaine happily and said his name once more, as if savouring it.
"Your name tastes like spearmint!"
