Hello readers, after a year of not writing I decided to come back (finally) please don't hate me for it with my college finals and the new semester it took time away from it. But now I am back to continue Charlie I re-wrote this chapter so bare with me I will hopefully post the next chapter withing the following days.

I erased the old chapter so it my say Chapter two in the emails but this is chapter 1

Charlie P.O.V

I was walking in a line behind my sister walking up the hall. I was exited we were both getting out of the juvenile facility but as soon as the excitement came it was over. Before I knew it I was pushed against the wall being held back and I turned to see my sister on the floor being beaten. I tried to help but once again I was pushed by the officer and we were escorted to our rooms.

We were both quiet not really sure what to do. Soon an officer escorted us to a door and shoved us outside as we walked outside we saw an African American lady looking at us. We gave each other confused look she looked at us shocked and stared more at Callie than myself. We saw another man coming towards us and walked us next to the lady

"Where's Jude? We need to talk to Jude?"

I tried to tell the guy but he ignored me and told me to shut up. We went to the car and my sister and I sat in the back.

"So my name is Lena you will be staying at my house" She said

"Obviously" I heard Callie whispered

"So you both are sisters, twins right?" She looked at us through the mirror I nodded but Callie stayed silent.

Callie and I are twins but we are fraternal twins. I had honey colored waist long hair whereas Callie had brown shoulder length hair. I had light brown eyes but Callie's were darker.

Our personality ranged I trusted people easily but I have difficulty speaking my mind unlike, Callie she is uncertain on who she can trust but wasn't afraid to speak out. Even though I am the oldest she took on the role to be the one who took care of me and Jude.

We soon arrived to an average two story house. Once we entered the house we looked around, she led us to the living room and told us to leave our stuff which wasn't much and come to the kitchen with her.

We sat down and two kids that looked around our age was a girl who had straight brown hair with tan skin and a boy who looked like her. Twins He had wavy hair, nice muscles, and a sweet smile. We sat down my sister at the head of the table and me across from him.

"These are the twins Jesus and Mariana we took them in eight years ago, and formally adopted them five years ago." I smiled

He looked over at my sister and asked her about her bruises. She didn't answer as Lena scolded Jesus. I looked at her and saw her looking at the phone and I gave her a hopeful look.

"Where's the bathroom?" Callie asked

"Right through there?" Lena pointed and we both excused our selves.

As we entered the bathroom and locked the door we hugged each other.

"I want Jude, Callie I want him to be with us" I cried harder

"Don't worry Charlie we'll get him soon I promised" she told me

We cleaned our self-up and went back to the kitchen and we both saw another boy who question who Callie and I were. Then soon another person a cop came and kissed Lena on the lips me and Callie looked at each other and Callie being Callie said what was in her mind.

"So you two are dykes". I nudged her.

"They prefer the term people but, yea they're gay" Jesus answered I gave them an embarrassed look. They told us their story; Stef the cop had a husband and had Brandon, divorced and got with Lena then adopted the twins. Soon it was time to go to sleep.

"Charlie can you ask Mariana for some pajamas for you and Callie" Lena asked me. I nodded and went upstairs I saw Marianna's room open I walked in but she wasn't in her room

"She's in the bathroom" I jumped and turned and see Jesus leaning against the door frame with his arms crossed.

"Oh Jesus!" I put my hand against my heart "you almost gave me a heart attack" I glared he looked at me with a smirk.

"I just need some PJ's for me and my sister" I told him. He stared for a bit then went inside the rooms and looked thru the drawers and gave me two set of PJ's.

"Thanks" as I tried to get then he held them up so I wouldn't reach them.

I smiled and tried to get them by jumping and he just laughed. As I tried to jump my I tripped and fell on top of him. Next thing I know our lips met. We stood there for a few second. I quickly got up took the PJ's and left down stairs. I gave my sister the PJ's and left to the bathroom. As I closed the door I touched my lips. My first kiss I quickly changed and went to sleep.

I woke the next day with my sister shaking me. We both got ready and went to the kitchen. Callie went to the coffee pot and made herself her coffee. As she drank everyone looked shocked.

"Can I have some coffee" Jesus asked

"NO" both Stef and Lena answered and I giggled.

Lena took us to school me sat behind Jesus he turned to look at me and smiled. Once we got there I stood star struck.

"This is your school" I gaped. I've never seen a school where if I have a free period I can go to the beach and relax this was so cool.

"Welcome to our school" Jesus said and patted me on the back.

".. And that gives us two x plus y over x plus one" The teacher said while writing it on the board. Math worst subject ever, for me at least. Then the bell ranged and we all got up and left the class. As I was walking down the corridor I saw Jesus putting things in his locker. Our eyes meet and I just walked past him with my head down not uttering a single word. As I walked outside I saw Callie talking to Mariana I walked towards them.

"Hey what's up?" I asked and Callie grabbed my arm and pulling away.

"We are going to get Jude tonight; Mariana told me there is a bus stop three blocks from here. She said to go through the back Lena's office is in the front." She told me as we were walking but stooped as soon as we saw Lena talking to some parents. We pretend to look for our classes and smiled then left.

"Well I guess we are going to the front" I said and she nodded. As we walked we saw Brandon. Callie turned to me "I think you should stay, if Lena saw you around she won't suspect anything."

I tried protesting but she hugged me and left. I saw Brandon fowling her and looked up silently praying she will be alright. Then the bell ranged and I started walking to my English class with Timothy. As I walked I passed by a window and saw Jesus. As he looked up he smiled and waved, I smiled back and started walking.

School ended pretty fast and before I knew it was home sitting in the living room doing my homework. A few minutes later I saw Lena walking in with Jesus talking.

"Hey Charlie how's homework?" Lena asked. I smiled saying it was good. Jesus sat close to me and started playing his video games.

"Jesus can't you see Charlie doing homework be considerate" Lena said while trying to shut the TV of. "It's ok Lena I don't mind the noise."

I smiled and she did the same and then there was a knock on the door and a man walked in with a suit. They started calling Brandon but no answer. Soon they discovered Callie and him were in San Isidro and went out to go get them. I sighed knowing that this was going to happen. Them not being here worried me that something might have happened to her or Jude.

"You know I wouldn't worry. Maybe Brandon just wanted to get away from the pressure."

I turned to Jesus as he got up and sat right next to me. I looked at his brown eyes and his smile.

"Brandon is not who I am worried about. Its Callie, she has the tendencies to get herself into situations where she's way over her head." I told him.

"ok Well then let's play twenty questions to get you un-worrie. I'll go first but I get to ask all twenty questions ok?" He said

"Ten" I said and he smiled.

"Full name"

"Charlotte AnneMarie Jacob "

"Age"

"16"

"Favorite food"

"Pizza"

"Favorite animal"

"Killer Whale" he looked at me odd but continued

"Hobbies"

"Swimming and writing"

"Favorite color"

"Baby blue"

"Big Mac or Whooper"

"Whopper hands down but MacDonald's fries" he laughed

"Tall or short"

"…Tall"

"Close or far"

"… close" as I said he started leaning in

"Yes or no"

"Yes" as I said he put his lips up against mine. He slowly put his arms around me. I didn't know what to think since I've never been kissed. He soon parted his lips as did mine.

"Jesus? Anybody home?" Mariana said while opening the door and we quickly separated and acted as if nothing happened she looked at us and shrugged and went upstairs after a few minutes Jesus went upstairs, and I started to do my homework once again.

As I was finishing up I saw Mariana dressed and leaving with tears in her eyes. And I heard a door slamming above. Well glad to know all siblings fight. With nothing to do I laid against the couch and slowly drifted to sleep.

I felt something touching my face and hair. I opened my eyes to see Jesus. His eyes widen but didn't remove his arm.

"You know you look cute when you're sleeping" he said I started blushing.

"I would say the same but I don't think that would be possible since I've never seen you sleep. But I mean may be one day. But that doesn't mean I will like I will go into your room and see how you sleep. I. I, I, I, I should really stop talking." I rambled classic me. He laughed

"Well if you do want to see if I'm cute while I sleep I'll leave my door open. You are welcomed at anytime." He told me and winked and once again I blushed.

We both headed outside and sat next to each other with his arm around me and my head against his shoulder. We looked up to see Mariana with her down and once again separated from each other. We smiled at her and Jesus hugged his sister. Then Callie came up to us holding Jude. I jumped up and both Jude and I ran hugged each other crying. I couldn't believe it I was holding my brother he's finally here with me and Callie, where he belonged. We all went inside as Stef closed the door.
