A/N: Set just after Blaine's graduation, where Kurt, Blaine and Rachel all share an apartment in NY. I know people have problems with words like 'honey' and 'baby' when it comes to Klaine, as it can be seen as making Kurt more feminine, but I just think Blaine would call Kurt cute little pet names, because deep down we all know Blaine is a puppy, and he has so much love that it needs to be expressed.
Kittens for Kurt
Blaine fidgeted nervously, staring at the clock. He was sure Kurt would like her… wasn't he? How could he know? He knew Rachel wouldn't argue, if Kurt batted his eyelashes at her, but that depended of Kurt actually liking her. He looked down at the little black kitten, small enough to crawl into Kurt's pencil case, and tied a blue ribbon around her neck. The cat settled in Blaine's arms, closing its eyes and falling asleep. Not two minutes he heard keys jingling in the door.
"Come on." He whispered to the kitten, before picking her up and putting her onto one of the kitchen seats. Blaine walked into the living room, to see his boyfriend coming through the door of their apartment.
"Hey honey." He said embracing him.
"Hi." Kurt replied, laughing at the slight quaver in the shorter boy's voice. "Something you want to tell me?"
Blaine swallowed, walking into the kitchen and returning with the little kitten. Kurts eyes were like dinner plates. For a moment Blaine's heart stopped, but then Kurt quickly picked her up, and squealed, hugging her to his chest, saying, "Aw, she's so CUTE!" Blaine breathed a sigh of relief, and smiled.
"Come here Kitty!" he called, and she came towards him.
"We need to name her." Kurt said.
"That's her name, though." Said Blaine happily.
"Kitty? How original." Kurt said, sarcastically, before collapsing as Blaine attacked his sides. "I yield! I yield!" he yelled. "You found her, you can name her."
"Her name is Shadowcat, or Kitty Pryde." Said Blaine sweetly. Kurt smiled, and pressed a chaste kiss to Blaine's lips. "She's perfect."
