This is my first fanfic so please be nice.
I'm writing this story mainly because I love original stuff put up by these amazing people called You Tubers. If you don't know who they are, they are people who put original content on YouTube, a video sharing website. Famous ones would include Smosh, Fred, Jenna Marbles, Nigahiga and PewdiePie.
This story will also have OOCs such as Azula being part of the gAang, meaning that she is close to them, but she is still a condescending person. Jet will not be a jerk and he and Haru will both run a YouTube channel.
P.S. Zuko does not have a terrible and painful past, and Kya and Ursa will still be around. And the gAang includes Suki and Azula. Ooh and there will be bending. DUH!
The gAang were all in Sokka and Kataras' living room brainstorming for their next video idea. They have been doing amazing comedy videos and song parodies for years now, and had never come to a situation where they were stuck for an idea. Suddenly, Sokka sprang up from his seat, almost throwing his laptop into the air. "I just received an email from YouTube. We have received an all-expense paid trip for a month to… Drumroll please," he requested excitedly.
"Sokka tell us where. I'm not doing a stupid drumroll!" said Katara, with frustration in her voice.
"I can't tell you where if you don't do the drumroll," Sokka said, dramatically waving his hands in the air.
"Just spit it out will you," Azula said, also rather frustrated.
"If you guys wanna be lame, then fine. It's fine by me. I'm totally ok-
He was cut off by Katara angrily telling him to "get to the point, Sokka!"
"Egypt," Zuko said, reading the email on Sokka's laptop screen.
Everyone was excited, but for different reasons. Sokka and Zuko just wanted a vacation, Aang, Katara and Azula were excited about the rich culture and history and well, Toph, being Toph, was excited about all the dirt and earth that surrounded the pyramids, one of Egypt's tourist attractions.
"What's the catch though?" asked Suki.
"There is no catch. It's just that we have to produce at least a video by the end of the trip promoting history or something. Something that we should be quite used to," said Zuko, after he read the email.
"When do we leave? What do we bring?" asked Aang, a little worried.
"Summer clothing, recording equipment and laptops. We leave in next week." Zuko said, being a little more responsible than Sokka.
As the gAang entered the airport, they said their final goodbyes; Azula to her boyfriend, Chan, and her and Zuko's parents. Sokka and Katara also said goodbye. Aang's and Toph's parents were a no-show, so they just waited at the side for the rest.
After all the farewells were bid, they headed for the check in counter.
