This is just a scrabbling I did at around 6 am. No, I havn't had any sleep, so if it sucks, please forgive me. Its told from Riku's point of view. I may end up writing a real fic about those two later... but for now... enjoy!
Its strange... even in this darkness, I can't stop thinking of him. Perhaps he's what has kept me sane through this darkness. Its almost as if merely thinking about him causes the light to return...
Some say his eyes are 'sapphire'. I don't think I agree. While sapphires are beautiful, they have a certain coldness to them that i could never use to describe Sora. No, his eyes live up to his name.... Sora...Sky... They are warm, and filled with emotion.
Yes, I realise this sounds like one of those sappy romance novels Kairi reads, I guess love is just strange that way. Although, I can't really say I'd mind being in a situation those characters from the novels often find themselves in. You know what kinda situations I'm talking about. Midnight... Star-filled sky.... staring deep into eachother's eyes....I wont complain about what normally happens afterwords either, if you get what I mean. Heh.
Like anything like that could ever happen. I'm stuck here, trapped behind this damn door, with a big-eared rat who sounds like he's been breathing helium (which wouldn't surprise me if he has been....) Sora is out there. With Kairi. The girl he's always had a crush on. Me jealous? You bet I am. I'm not hardly afraid to admit it.
But I know how much Sora cares about her. I guess I'm trying to say that I'm happy as long as he's happy. But truthfully, if i said that, I'd be lying my ass off. No, I wont go as far as to say I'd be happy if he were with her, but I wouldn't want to stop him from being happy.
When he's happy, his smile could bring light, even to this.. the darkest of abysses. The way his eyes light up, his smile, his laugh... Everything about him is peaceful, bright, and perfect. If there is one thing I wish for, its that he never changes. I hope his cheerful smile never vanishes, his faith never shaken.
Because of him, I continue living, every day the thought of seeing his smile, and even his pout, yeah his pout... Its absolutly adorable.The way his crosses his arms over his chest, puckers his lips, as if awaiting a kiss, and narrows his eyes in what I'm assuming is supposed to be an intimidating glare... Damn... got side tract from what I was trying to say. I guess he does that to me... But... as I was saying, he's what keeps me going... Bringing me the light of hope... that keeps me from falling into the darkness completly.
