A Lover's Poem.

This is a poem from Kurama to his mate, Inume from Inuyasha. Inume is Inuyasha's twin sister.

and just so she won't kill me later, i'll tell you that i have an older sister, Sharra, who is Sesshomaru's twin. Anyways I hope you like it!

I was a lonely soul,

With only one friend.

I was, and still am,

A demon with a terrible past.

I didn't know where the road of my life was going to lead me,

But in the end the road lead to my death.

I was reborn as a human,

But I was still a lonely soul with four friends.

That is until I meet you.

On that faithful day,

I was going to the sanck bar, at Kohana Beach to get

Snacks for my friends and I,

When I passed you sitting under a tree.

You were crying and so I leaned my surf board up against the tree and sat down beside you.

You looked up at me, asked who i was, and why I was sitting beside you.

Instead of telling you I reached up under my hair,

Pulled out a rose, gave it to you and asked you if you

Needed someone who would always be by your side,

And protect you no matter what.

You just stared at me, for a few minutes, took the rose,

Threw your self against my chest, and started crying again.

All I could do at that moment was wrap my arms around you.

From that day forth I have never felt like I was an empty soul,

But a soul filled with love and happiness.

Now, I wouldn't part with you for the world,

Because if I did then I would return to my lonely soul days,

And eventually kill my self. I would kill myself if anything happened to you.

You are the light of my world.

You are my angel and I am your demon.

You showed me true love and kindness,

Things that I've never seen or felt before,

All I have to say is this:

I couldn't ask for a better mate than you.

I think it sucks and could use lots of improvements but it's really up to you to decide so please Review!
