(Shadow POV)
Ho hum. The world is too peaceful. Killing aliens and robots is much more entertaining than sitting or chasing after Eggman like the faker does. Speaking of which, where is he? He hasn't darted by, asking if I wanted a chilidog (a/n: One track mind!) in ten minutes. Just the same, sitting in the Mystic Ruins, watching the trains leaving and departing is better than just sitting I guess. But, it would be better if the conductor STOPPED POINTING ME OUT LIKE THE ARC DE TRIUMPH!!!!!!!!!! Insolent. I might have just decided to destroy that train if Sonic's best friend, Tails, wasn't flying towards me.
"Shadow! Shadow! You've gotta come with me!" shouted Tails, "Its really important!" I asked, "Why aren't you showing Sonic." "Because I already did." said Tails, dragging me to the airlift that leads to the upper level of the Mystic Ruins ( A/N: How the heck does that thing work?!).
Tails continued to drag me towards the Master Emerald shrine untill we reached the back end of it. "So, what's so important that you had to drag me up an entire mountain?" I asked. Tails simply said "This" and pointed to a glowing wall. How the hell did that get there?' I thought. "Now drop out of the tunnel when I tell you to." said Tails as he dragged me through the wall.
What I saw was simply a swirling tunnel with little protrusions sticking out, Tails ahead of me. "Now!" yelled Tails and he disappeared from sight. Then, I guess I ran into a large protrusion, because I blacked out.
