The Moon
As the sun sinks below the sky,
I ask myself why.
Why did she leave me,
To save the moon above the sea?
I know in my heart she's not really gone,
But only leaves at dawn.
Sometimes at night,
I tell myself everything will be alright.
And hope that I just might
Hear her voice again tonight.
I like to think that she's listening
As I talk to the moon, shining and glistening.
And I think of the day
When my life won't be in disarray.
My sister is very supportive of me,
But no one can ever fill the space where she
Was meant to be.
As dawn comes near,
Katara and Aang start to pack the gear.
I reach the top of a sand dune,
As I say goodbye to the moon,
And that I will see her soon.
