Unfocused emerald eyes blinked, the feel of an intense gaze pricking on the back of his neck. Slowly rolling over to where a certain ebony-haired beauty lay beside him, he found rumpled covers splayed around a sitting figure with their knees drawn up to their chest.
"Everything okay, Corporal?"
Startled navy orbs focused again, lips parting in a silent 'oh!'
"It's fine. Go back to sleep, Yeager."
Eren didn't believe him for a second, not from the way he could see tears sparkling in the moonlight on Levi's cheeks.
Again… Between my nightmares and the crying he thinks I never notice and… He mentally cleared his throat. And… umm… there's a lack for sleep here, yeah, we'll go with that.
Out loud, he simply voiced, "Is it your scars?"
Levi traced a long mark on one wrist, a single silvery drop sliding down the side of his face. "Just hold me, brat."
Eren did, letting Levi rest his head against in shoulder while gently brushing his smooth fingers over the back of his neck. "Love you, Corporal."
"I… love you too, Yeager. Promise you're not going anywhere, okay? Everyone needs a shoulder to cry on sometimes."
"I'm not going anywhere… until I get sent to some other place."
"Ha, ha, ha. It is to laugh." Mumbled Levi against the sleeve of his jacket. "Seriously, though. Don't—don't die and leave me alone."
A small smile perched on the edge of Eren's lips. "I'll try not to get myself killed.
"If you do, I'm going to resurrect you just to kill you again for breaking my heart."
"Now that's the Levi I know."
Welp, my first ever Attack on Titan fanfic, and of course it hatd to be Ereri. I live for yaoi, guys. And my family. And friends. And cats. Anyways, before I go on a monologue, I just wanna say that I'm really glad to be back, and let me know if you want me to write more Ereri in the future.
