CHALLENGE: C-R-A-Z-Y
Lucius Malfoy is in the mental ward of St. Mungo's, a seemingly hopeless case. Though the war has been over for a year now, he seems to still be reliving the horrors of it. His screams and tears and lunatic muttering is too much for anyone to bear, and even his own son has stopped visiting. Is Lucius the victim of a dark curse, or is his mental stability simply leaving him? No one knows for sure.
The room he is in is brightly lit, and void of anything not white, but his mind has turned it into a dark hell. There is a small break from the torture: a vase of flowers on the dresser; and a voice, a person (a hallucination?), his only comfort.
"Mr. Malfoy, you're breakfast is here!"
So, I've had this idea in my head for a while, but rather than subject you all to my horrible writing, I decided to put the idea out there for you guys to try, if you so desire. This is a Lucius/OC (friendship or romance, your choice) story centered around the idea that Lucius did not come out of the war unscathed.
I'm very curious as to what kind of things you guys can come up with, and what sort of OC you would fit into your story. Most of the things are going to be completely up to you (plot, word length, what characters you include, and the characters' relationships). After all, it will be your story, just my basic idea. However, I would ask that the OC, male or female, be a healer. Also, a funny, living grandfather or grandmother. They can be muggle, wizard, or squib, doesn't matter; all I ask is that they be funny.
