The train was moving along at a quick pace as the Elric brothers were on their way to their next assignment."So brother, we're hunting an alchemist?" asked Alphonse the younger of the two.
"Yes. Thats what we were ordered to do by Cln. Mustang."replied Edward the elder of the two.
The alchemist in question was a former state alchemist. He was specifically known for his research in wind alchemy. He was banned from studying alchemy ever again because of his methods of gaining power. He had somehow formed the thesis that by killing a human and extracting their soul a person could gain extraordinary power."I hope this doesn't take long,"said Edward,"I'm tired of doing Mustangs bidding."
"Didn't you say you were on a breakthrough for getting my body back?" asked Al
"Yep. In fact as soon as we get back I think I can do it."replied Ed.
"Thats good. Will you stay a state alchemist brother?"
"...I don't know.."
DING!We have arrived at your destination. All passengers off the train.
"Well here we are brother"
As the two brothers stepped off the train they didn't realize just how hard this mission was going to be. Or that it might be their last.
