"Okay students... (the teacher spoke) i have very few things to say, as you know the dance is coming up." everyone
started talking no one payed attention to the rest she had to say.
"Miley are you going with Jake?"
"I hope so, he hasn't asked me yet.(she sounded hurt and hopeful at the same time.)who are you going with?"
"Oh i don't know,soo many people have asked me."
"Really?! thats so cool!"
"Please Miley nobody has! Your clueless at times you know that?"
"Sorry gosh!"
"Sorry Miley im just mad because no one asked me.I don't think im going."
"Lilly why don't you just go with Oliver?"
"Pssh Oliver!? are you serious?"
secretly i do want to ask oliver but he only thinks of me as a friend.Guys ask girls anyway.
"Yes im serious,if you dont want to go as more than friends then just go as friends."
"But Oliver is so-"
"Oliver is so what? you were going to say dreamy right."
i laughed "Don't sneek up on me like that Oliver. it sacared me!"
"Sorry,what were you guys talking about"?
"Nothing!" me and Miley both said

just then the bell rang for first period
oliver and i had the same class so we walked together
"So Lilly have you got a date yet?"
my hart skipped a beat.'was he going to ask me!?'
"No why do you ask?"
"No reason"
"Oh, do you?" i tryed to hide my disapointment
"No"
"Well you do know its guys ask girls right?"
"Yeah,im thinking of asking this one girl." for some reason he was smiling real big
"Cool,whats her name?"
"You dont know her." his smile reapeared
"Oh ok, how do you know her?"
"We go way back."

"Alright class today we will be studying..."
i wasn't really paying attention in class, why would i if i could just stare at Lilly? yes I like Lilly, shoker!
who can be friends with a beautiful girl like her and not even have a crush?she noticed me a few times but she didnt care.
Then the bell rang and we went to 2nd period this time i had Miley.
"Hey Miles!"
"Hi Oliver.Have you got a date to the dance yet?"
"No but i think im going to ask Amber."
"WHAAAAT!!"
I laughed
"What is so funny about that!?
"I'm just kidding Miley."
"Oh you almost gave me a heartattack!"
"So are you going with Jake?"
"I hope so.But really who are you going to ask?"
If i told her the truth she would go and run her mouth.
"I dont think i'm going to ask anyone."
"You should ask Lilly."
"Really why?"
"I don't know, neither one of you have dates and i think it would be cute."
"Why do you think it would be cute?"
"Oliver,you and Lilly have been friends forever theres nothing wrong with asking her to a dance."
"You dont think shed be weirded out?"
"No of course not.Just do it!"

Finally the end of the day,I am so glad its friday! Tomarrow im going with Miley to pick out a dressfor the dance.Of course its
Miley and she takes forever to pick something out so i didn't make anyother plans.Why do people make such a big deal about
stupid dances?Anywho Oliver and I are hanging out Sunday.Theres a day i don't have to hear about a dumb dance.
Just then i heard a ring,it was Miley calling.
"hello?"
"OMG Lilly! Jake just asked me to the dance!!"
"I'm not surprised honestly but that is cool."
"We're going to have so much fun an-"
"Miley im tired so im going to take a nap, i'll talk to you tomarrow ok?"

I was tired but once i layed down i couldn't sleep.All i could think about was Oliver.finally i fell asleep and i dreamed about none other then...Oliver.
