The three brothers stood on the bridge, looking at the cloaked figure in front of them.
The eldest brother spoke. "Well, what I would like is-"
Sadly, he never finished his sentence. For right then, a green, pulsating portal opened in front of their gaping, dumbfounded mouths.
And out of it tumbled a big man in an orange jumpsuit.

Jack Fenton was extremely confused.
Last thing he knew, he had "accidentally" fell into his son, Danny's, room, and had figured he would take advantage of the opportunity.
When he had found a strange map in Danny's room, he hadn't known what to expect. He traced his finger across it, because that's what the people in movies always did with this kind of stuff.
The next moment, he had been holding on for dear life to the strange map as he zoomed through the ghost zone, and he had landed on a bridge.
As his sight focused, he saw three people staring in terror at him.
"Do not worry, I mean no harm!"
They kept staring at him.
"Unless… it's something behind me!"
He spun around, and sure enough-
A ghost.
It was, by far, the creepiest ghost he had ever seen. It looked like a floating guy made of darkness in a tattered cape. It gave him the shivers.
Aww well. At leash he always kept a handy Fenton Peeler on hand (nowadays)!
"Die, ghost!"
And soon, there were nothing more than robes.
"Haha! No ghost can beat Jack Fenton!"

And thus, instead of being on a quest for the Deathly Hallows and horcruxes, Ron, Harry, and Hermione ended up gallivanting around on a quest for the horcruxes and the legendary Fenton Peeler, which could even defeat Death.
And all along, they were searching on the wrong continent.

Danny landed in the frozen realm of the ghost zone, looking, wide-eyed, at Frostbite.
"I'm so sorry! Vlad had stolen it again, and I was meaning to return it, but school started, and then Dad got his hands on it, and he went who-knows-where—"
Frostbite laughed. "It's quite all right. Now, let's see how those ice powers of yours are doing, eh…?"
