As Cheryl was walking with Veronica around the hallways of Riverdale High, she started to contemplate. Something that she would do every night.

As she passed by the trophy case and saw Jason's picture, a sudden tear trickled down her cheek.

Everyday, Cheryl would be treated like a queen, a person who everyone is intimidated by, a person that everyone thinks that she's alright.

The truth is... She wasn't.

She was broken. She was torn. She was still grieving from the loss of her brother. Every time someone would look at her, they'd see her as perfection, but when she looks at herself, she sees a girl who wears a fake smile with a masked attitude to hide her true emotions.

As creepy as it sounds, Jason was truly her soulmate. He was the twin that everyone would ask for. He was always there for her. Every time she was hurt, he'd be there to comfort her, to be with her, and to stand up for her.

But everything changed after her brother's tragic death. She became vulnerable, but never dared to show it to keep up with her appearance.

Suddenly, as Veronica was walking with her, she placed a hand on her shoulder.

"You okay, Cheryl?" Veronica asked, placing a hand on her shoulder.

Cheryl looked at her, wiping a tear as she sniffed.

"I'll be alright, Veronica." She replied.
