Opposites Attract

By Sailor Rainbo

A hand flies up in to the air. (Still attached to the arm!!!)

"Yes Otome." Said the sensei in an exasperated tone.

"Where can I find the video?"

WHACK.

"Ouch!!! Kouken…Why did you do THAT!?!"

"Because you ditz!" Kouken yelled while flipping her dark locks out of her eyes.

"But still, you didn't have to!" Otome complained.

"Yes I did. Do you honestly think that Inase-sensei would let you watch the movie and not read the book?" Kouken explained.

Otome blushed as snickers could be heard throughout the classroom.

"This is so embarrassing," Otome murmured.

3 hours later…

"KOUKEN!!! WAIT! UP!" Yelled an exhausted Otome.

"It's not my fault you can't keep up. After all, you ARE on the cheerleading squad, aren't you? You should be in shape." Kouken stated.

As they turned the street, loud music could be heard.

"Oh great…Rei is home." Otome sullenly pointed out.

"Wouldn't that be a good thing???" questioned Kouken.

"For some people it might, but for ME…Never. I'll go deaf if I enter that house. Ya got any ear plugs?" Otome questioned slightly.

"Nope," Kouken said with a snicker.

"Ugh…Well, thanks for nothing." Otome said.

She turned to walk up the driveway when the music stopped and Otome saw Rei's head pop out of a window.

"Mom said she's gonna be gone for the weekend and for you to stay at Kouken's place. She already talked it over with her mom, AND she packed your stuff, Soooooo…" he heaved a bag out the window, dropped it and continued, "Here ya go!"

The bag dropped to the ground with a thump. Otome ran over to check all her stuff. As soon as she was satisfied that she had everything needed, she picked it up and walked back to Kouken.

"Alrighty. We can go now." Otome said cheerfully, already starting to walk.

"Greeeeeaaaat." Kouken muttered.
