Ring! Ring! The alarm clock in Tai's room went off. "Tai! Wake up! Schools in thirty minutes!" Tai's mom called from the kitchen. "Great, the first day of middle school" he said pulling his covers tightly over his head. ******* Tai yawned as he entered his new school. "So, I'm locker 316, that's ... Ah..." "This way" said a girl standing behind him. Tai could not do anything but stare at her. "T-thanks" he finally spit out. "No prob. Catch ya around" she said as she walked away. "Hey Tai" Sora said cheerfully. Tai just continued to watch her down the hallway. "Do you know who that is?" Tai asked. "Probably a eight grader" she replied "Oh... Okay" he said walking in the direction the girl had pointed in leaving Sora Standing in the middle of the hallway. "Ass" she said walking down another hallway. ******* Tai walked into his first period class, homeroom. He saw matt in the corner of the room. "Hey, Matt" he said walking over to him. "Hey" he replied, "this really sucks". "Yah I know" The teacher walked into the room. "Children, quiet down and get into your seats. I am Mr. Chung, I am your teacher, I will be for the rest of the year" he finished. "This is going to be along day," he muttered. In fourth period he had the same class as Izzy, and at lunch Joe. Tai was quietly eating his lunch with Joe, when the girl he met earlier walked by. He immediately jumped up and walked over to her. "H-hi" he stuttered. "Oh hey I remember you, you're that kid I helped earlier, What's your name?" "Tai...and you?" "I'm kim" she replied. "What a nice name" he said wide eyed. "Well got to go" she said in a rush. "Bye" he said watching her walk off again. "Hey tai" Sora said walking up to him, but Tai just turned around and walked back to his seat. "He's really tickin' me off" she said annoyed. ****** When Tai got home he didn't want to anything but sleep, he got in to his sweats and t-shirt and plopped onto his bed.
