Hey guys, before we start I would like to thank retro mania for asking me to write this story and now let the show begin
Twilight stood atop of a cliff that over looked Ponyville, she turned around and saw her friends under a tree preparing a picnic to celebrate another year of being friends. They had been friends for 4 years now, a year ago she faced Tierk.
She walked up to her friends and sat down on the red and white checkered blanket "So how is everypony today?" Twilight asked. "Just fine Twilight but am afraid I my be busy this weekend cause Big Mac' broke his back whilst fixing the roof yesterday" Applejack replied "Oh I hope he's okay" Fluttershy said concerned about the pony who only says two words. "Well I got a letter from Spitfire saying that I got a good chance of joining the Wonderbolts if a space opens up" Rainbow said proudly as her life long goal is so close to being achieved.
"Well I made a new recipe yesterday!" Pinkie exclaimed as she bounced up and down. "Am doing fine darling how about you?" Rarity said to the lavender alicorn "Am fine, I even invented a one of a kind spell" Twilight said as she pulled out a tea pot from a basket and poured some tea into a cup she got out earlier. "And does it do, if you don't mind?" Fluttershy asked wanting to know what the spell is. "Well it should allow you to see a alternate reality" Twilight said "Cast it, cast it, cast it!" Pinkie shouted. "Okay, okay, I will" Twilight said as she stood up and started to cast the spell. Once her horn began to dim a flash of white consumed them and as it faded there was no trace of them.
Meanwhile
Twilight Twinkle was walking down a path that was right next to a field of flowers that were planted by Posy. She suddenly stopped when a group of ponies appear in front of her in a flash of light.
