This is going to be a collection of GravesBeaks drabbles that will mainly focus on Mark Beaks and Falcon Graves after they already have an established relationship/are dating. Several of these are from artwork posted on tumblr or prompts that inspired me. This is a ship I really love and hopefully others will enjoy it too.

As cute as I think these two are together, they are going to have their share of problems. They are opposites in many ways and will definitely have disagreements. There's not a lot to go on from their one appearance together so I have to fill in the gaps. Two things are certain, Falcon takes everything very seriously, while Mark is the kind of guy that thinks everything is fun and games. Also, I head-cannon that Graves is around 40 years old and Mark is 28, if you go by his user name markmakesitrain89.

For this drabble I wanted to explore Mark's anger issues when something doesn't go the way he wants or expects.

Falcon was laying in bed, arms crossed behind his head, while Mark was planting kisses down his body.

"As much as I'm enjoying the extra attention this morning, we really should be getting ready for work." Falcon told him.

Mark stopped kissing midway down his chest and frowned. "Aren't you ever spontaneous?"

"No, I like having a daily itinerary. You should really have one too."

Mark glared at him, his lighthearted mood quickly turning to anger. "Why should I?" He asked defensively. "I didn't become a billionaire to have some set schedule like everyone else. I own Waddle, so I can do what I want."

Graves had unknowingly touched a nerve. He sat up and pulled the parrot close "I know that." He told him soothingly, trying to calm him down. "I just think it would give the wrong impression if we showed up late, together."

"Wrong impression! You're my boyfriend, why do we have to hide it. Are you embarrassed to be with me?" He accused, pushing him away.

"No, of course not." he defended. "That's not what I meant."

"So what did you mean?" He asked, voice raised.

He hated when Mark let a little misunderstanding put him in a bad mood. "You are acting like a child, so until you act your age, this conversation is over. I will go to work and you can do whatever you want."

"Oh, so I'm a child now. Sorry I can't be an old bore like you."

Falcon knew the best way to handle Mark when he got like this was to give him space. Ignoring his last comment, he got out of bed and headed to the bathroom, slamming the door to emphasize his frustration.

Sighing, he grabbed the sink and looked at himself in the mirror. Mark was right, he was being a bore. He was so conditioned to be emotionless and uncaring that he forgot what it was like to relax.

He shook his head. What was done, was done and there was no way he was going to admit he was wrong. Maybe he did need to lighten up but Mark had to learn that throwing a temper tantrum was not how to get your way.

He was about to get in the shower when he heard a knock on the door. "Hey Gravesy, don't be mad at me, I'm sorry." A calm voice came from the other side.

He opened the door and Mark was standing there, staring at the floor. Falcon looked down at the smaller bird and smiled. Sometimes he could be a bit much but there was something about him that drove him crazy in a good way. He put a finger under his beak, lifting his face so he could look at him.

"I'm not mad at you and I'm sorry for putting work before you when I don't have to."

Mark pulled him into a hug and gave him a quick kiss before grabbing his hand and leading him back to bed. "Good because I'm insisting you take the day off so I can show you how sorry I am."
