Gwen is innocent, unknowing of the world around her, even though it's been revealed. She still lives in her fairy tale, drawn to others, a real human being in a monster house. She's the one that has a life outside of Torchwood. She is the one that goes home to a loving husband, who is cared about. But she is also vulnerable, delicate. She stumbles upon things that shouldn't be uncovered. Tells people things that should remain unknown. She gets angry when secrets are kept from her, not knowing reason. But Jack knows real, caring humanity when he sees it.
