She remembered that much, the song - its empty promise. Lies. All lies. She's angry; making everyone suffer for it. She's determined to fulfil the rest– the tears, and the loss.
So when the young man comes to her, she's ready to deal with him as she had dealt with all the others. And at first, it goes well – he's quick and nimble but she's quicker and lays him open, fingers clawed, satisfied with tears of blood.
She's forgotten the rest of the song.
Unseen, elsewhere - another young man ignites her bones – fixes her.
A/N – Dean wouldn't approve of my choice of musical accompaniment, but Sam might! For those who don't recognise it – Coldplay's Fix You was what came to mind the minute I saw this prompt.
