Seaweed Brain's P.O.V

"PERSEUS!"

"THALIA!"

"WHY ARE YOU YELLING MY NAME?!"
"BECAUSE YOU YELLED MINE!"

"YO, BOTH OF YOU STOP YELLING NOW!"

"But you were yelling Nicks."

"So you two could hear me over the racket you were making."

"Yes mooom."

"Hey! Also Percy stop spacing out."

I looked at Nico instantly. "I don't know what your talking abou- Oh we are here."

Pause right there. I should tell you guys what's going on. So, Nico, Thalia and I were walking to school. On the walk there I spaced out thinking about...things. So they started talking to me but I could only faintly hear them, until Thalia being Thalia screamed my name in my ear nearly blowing out my ear drum...then I screamed back...and the whole conflict began…

We were walking into the school when I felt an eye on me from behind, so I turned around and saw a pretty blond that i've never seen before. Her hair was in a high ponytail and she was wearing a white blouse, jeans and sneakers. She had these calculating silvery grey eyes that remind me of a hurricane but they were as calm as a bird, the simplest thing could set it off.

I looked away from her but I could still feel her stare trail after me as I walked. It didn't leave the back of my head until I rounded the corner. Saddly the school bullies were in that hall and they spotted me. Time for a beating.

I made it to homeroom with seconds to spare. I just sat down when the bell rang and the teacher walked in, with an additional person with him. It was the new girl I saw earlier. When she walked in se saw me and looked me right in the eye, it was actually a little scary because it looked as if she was seeing the ways she would take me down in a fight. She looked away from me when the teacher started talking and looked around the class.

"Class this is Annabeth, she is a new student so please welcome her. Every body is here today so you can choose any seat that is empty." Mr. Rarele said.

I just noticed that every seat that is open is by a guy and for some reason I felt jealous about that. She didn't seem to notice that every guy by an empty seat made sure the seat was clear so she could sit they were also motioning to her to sit by them. She didn't notice any of that she just went straight to the back and sat down...fight next to me. I was looking down the whole time when she walk so I didn't see. I didn't even realize she sat down until she stuck out her hand and started talking to me.

"Hey, my name's Annabeth. What is your's?"

I turned to her surprised but answered nonetheless "Percy." I said that while taking her hand to shake. When we touched I felt a shock, not a bad one. I just shrugged it off as static electricity, and shook her hand. Now close up I could tell she smelled strongly of fresh strawberries and a faint lemon. It smelled really good, but i'm not going to tell her that; that's creepy.

"It's nice to meet you." She stated.

"Same"

"What are your classes"

I gave her my schedule and her eyes lit up.

"We have all classes together except for third, which is are elective." Annabeth concluded right as the bell rang.

I got up standing by her crossed my fingers behind my back bowed and held out a hand. "Shall we?"

Annabeth laughed at my antics but took my hand(wow there is a lot of static electricity in here)and we walked to class after she stood and we let go of each other's hands.
